Sabi Sands

 


Sabi Sand Private Wildlife Reserve borders KrugerPark on its western boundary. It is much smaller in size, however, the animals are free to move in and out of KrugerPark and this reserve. Game viewing is on and off road in open top 4x4 vehicles and the "Big Five" are frequently seen close to your vehicle.


Game viewing is performed by tracking animal footprints and trails by a Shangaan tracker who has been born in the wild and understands the animals and birds best.
You tend to see quality up close sightings rather vast herds as in the KrugerNational Park.

Accommodation: Your luxury accommodation over looks a water hole and wildlife can be frequently seen from your bedroom. There are no fences between you and the wild so care should be taken by staying in the camp area.

A maximum of ten thatched chalets are comfortably appointed with African furnishings, double bed, fan, electricity and en-suite bathroom, shower and toilet. Within the camp grounds there is a bar area, lounge, breakfast verandah, small curio shop and dinner boma. Enjoy sun bathing during the heat of the day around a sparkling pool over looking the wild.
