Kruger National Park - South Africa
This world famous park on eastern border of South Africa was formed in 1898 and is just under 2 million hectares in size. It offers you the most spectacular array of wildlife ever seen. The "Big Five" namely: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo are regularly seen. Kruger has over 500 bird species, 147 mammal species, 7 major river systems and 35 different landscapes, from river forest to open dry savannah. It also interestingly, has over 300 archaeological sites of stone age man and signs of bushmen dating back to 1500 years ago.
The Kruger National Park is vast and boasts big herds of animals, for instance a herd of over 500 buffalo can be seen crossing in front of you. Kruger Park is natural, a landscape that has been untouched for centuries, for this reason game viewing is restricted to roads to keep this landscape unspoilt.

Accommodation
Accommodation is in tranquil thatched bungalows inside Kruger National Park. We are situated in the southern section of Kruger Park where the game viewing is excellent due to the abundant variety of trees and vegetation available to the animals. This is also the part of the park which receives the most rainfall.
Your comfortable private room is very clean with towels, linen and soap provided. The bungalows have electricity (220 volts), plug points, air-conditioner, wardrobe and an en suite basin, shower and toilet. A bath is available at the communal facilities should you require this. The camp has a fully stocked shop, restaurant, cafeteria and night wildlife films facility. The camp is electric fenced with game viewing benches on the borders for you to have a quiet moment in the wild.
Game Drive itinerary
Early morning , mid morning and afternoon game drives conducted in our exciting radio interlinked open 4x4 vehicles seating a maximum of 9 passengers. See the most sightings each day.Enjoy height and comfort, without obstruction for that perfect photograph. Sunrise safari for approximately 3 hours with a welcome breakfast Mid morning safari lasts for 1.5 hours. Welcome break during heat of day for relaxation at the pool, shop, sun tan, game view from the verandah or sleep. Afternoon game drive departs 3 hours before sunset. At sunset return to camp for a hot shower & dinner.
Extra Activities for you to add
Cultural Tribal Tour - Tribal dancers, native cuisine, get an insight into village life. A bush walk with armed rangers lasting 3 hours is available during the day, giving you a chance to encounter animals on foot, see animal tracks, insects, birds and hopefully the "small 5".
Drakensberg mountains close to Kruger Park . A scenic route of spectacular mountains,waterfalls and forests. Breathtaking views including : God's Window, the confluence of two rivers where pebbles have carved potholes out of the embedded rock and the third largest canyon in the world.
